Let’s be honest.. the summer weather is an avid makeup wear-er’s worst enemy; it takes multiple primers and a ton of blotting papers to keep our face in tact throughout the day. My previous routine included a silicon-based primer that clogged my pores like no other, yet kept me matte for about 5 hours, which is next-to nothing. It was a love-hate relationship, but mostly hate once the sun’s rays hit my face and my makeup nearly melted off! (Plus, I totally broke out and my face felt sticky and gross!)

The brand expanded its original makeup setting spray to a makeup priming spray that balances the oils in the skin and evens out skintone, as well as minimizing the appearance of large pores. After receiving a generous sample to try, I have to say, I’m in love. First, I use the priming spray. Then, I apply my makeup, and apply the setting spray last. From early morning to late afternoon, my makeup still looks fresh, new, and matte, despite the super warm weather we have been experiencing in NYC! Even I was in awe how my makeup still looked so fresh after sweating!
