Which Witch Won Best Makeup at The Oz Premiere?

At the Oz the Great and Powerful premiere some of our favorite Hollywood A-listers took to the red carpet to promote their new film, which releases in theaters March 8th. The film tells the backstory of the Wizard of Oz, focusing on the origin of the witches played by Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz. The three beauties looked wicked on the red carpet and gave us some truly beautiful makeup looks to admire.

Mila Kunis looked enchanting in a Dolce and Gabana gown. Her hair was done in a pretty updo and paired with romantic makeup. To complement the star’s ethereal dress, celebrity makeup artist Tracy Levy went for gold eye makeup and bronzed skin. Using Laura Mercier products, she added contour to Kunis’ pretty face using the Bronzing Powder and Shimmer Bloc in pink mosaic to highlight on top of Invisible Loose Setting Powder as a base. Mila Kunis’ golden eyes were created using the Caviar Stick in Rose Gold, which brightened her lids. Then, to add a touch of drama, Levy lined Kunis’ eyelids in Noir and Violet Crème Eye Liners. To get this look yourself, start gently lining the inner eyelid, pressing down further as you make your way across the lid to create a thicker line on the outskirts of the lid. Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Angelic and Lip Glacé in Sparkling were used to create her light pink lip color that completed the look.

Michelle Williams cast a spell a risqué Prada dress and a smoky cat eye.  She wore a daring side-slitted Prada gown showing off some serious side leg and exposing her black underwear. Michelle’s sexy side part hairdo and sultry cat eye makeup was so mod and sophisticated, yet still youthful. Makeup artist Bedrani applied Laura Mercier in Cocoa all over the lid and the bottom lash line, then swept Khaki over the outer corners, blending and extending the shade to give it the smoky cat-eye effect. For the finishing touches, Bedrani illuminated the eye using the Rose Gold stick, then defined with Crème Eye Liner in Noir and multiple coats of Faux Lash Mascara. A delicate, natural pink lip balanced the dramatic eyes.

Rachel Weisz looked wicked hot in a bright orange Victoria Beckham gown with a soft and simple beauty look by Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee. She created Rachel’s luminous complexion with Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Sunscreen Makeup for a flawless base. For cheeks Poudre Signee de Chanel Illuminating Powder was used. Rachel’s gorgeous eyes were highlighted using Chanel Linge Graphique liquid eyeliner and finished with Chanel Le Volume mascara for what she called a “Sophia-esque” eye.
