Thalio was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In 1998 he decided to leave his hometown and move to Houston Texas to be closer to his family. While trying to discover his passion in life, he acquired skills about makeup through his friends in California. After experimenting and practicing on himself, family, and friends, he became more intrigued and then realized that he had found his passion for makeup.
Thalio joined an on-location makeup artistry company in September 2010 (Your Beautiful Face Co.), where he learned and took in as much as he could, from the wedding industry. His makeup skills drew the attention of numerous brides, of whom asked their lead artist to do their makeup just like Thalio’s bridesmaids. Ironically, it was those bridesmaids that validated his talent and encouraged him to pursue his dream. Shortly after December 2010, Thalio decided to follow his dreams and began a career in the art of Bridal Makeup.
In January 2011 he started his own on-location makeup artistry and tanning company, hence Thalio Beckham Makeup Artistry was born. Ever since then it has been a success with countless brides and numerous clientele. In 2012 he was asked by Laurette Veres, Editor in Chief of The Bridal Extravaganza Show to do the makeup for the “Billboard Bride, Xochitl Chorba”. Since then Thalio has been high in demand in all aspects in beauty makeup. His work has been recognized by the top local bridal photographers in Houston Texas and his worked has been featured in bridal magazines, Houston Chronicle, blogs and websites.
