Sofia Vergara once again knocked it out of the park with her red carpet style, just about outdoing everyone on SAG Awards 2012 best dressed lists around. She usually rocks dark makeup to show off her sexy vixen vibe but she showed up looking pretty in pink this time and it was a nice change. Â While most of us aren’t as drop dead gorgeous as Vergara, you can get her makeup look for less.
My favorite thing about her look is the balancing of the big heavy lashes with a feminine pink lipstick. Try blending two shades to create the perfect color: CoverGirl LipPerfection ($6.99) in Eternal followed by CoverGirl Blast Flipstick ($7.99) in Vixen. To match the purple tones in Vergara’s bracelet and earrings, a plum eye shadow like Mac’s Plum Dressing ($19.50) was paired to bring the whole look together. On the face, use a soft fluffy brush to apply Covergirl’s Clean pressed Powder in Soft Honey. Then, to highlight her perfect cheekbones use Clinique Soft Pressed Pink Blush ($21) along the apples of the cheeks.
To finish off the look brighten up the eyes using a brown eyeliner at outer corner of the upper lash line and all the way along the bottom and apply Covergirl Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadows in Forever Fig over the entire lid starting at the outer corners and blending towards the center. Lastly apply two coats of Dior Diorshow Black out Mascarca on both the top and bottom lashes.
The result? Makeup perfection that complemented Vergara’s gorgeous dress and jewelry, without being too overdone..
