Slick Trick: How to Not Overdo Your Makeup for Photos

Celebrity makeup artist from The Wall Group, Rachel Goodwin, says it’s all about working with that you got – playing up your natural features and being careful to not go overboard on the black liner and rosy cheeks. Goodwin has worked with Hollywood’s starlets Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone.

Follow her tips for photos you’ll love:

  • When it comes to makeup that translates well in photos, you really want to make sure you accentuate your natural features, defining them just a tad more than you would everyday.
  • Create an even skin tone with a medium coverage base and powder only the center of the face for a refined yet natural look that still allows your skin to glow.
