Naomi Watts walked showed us all how to perfect the red lipstick look when she appeared at the premiere of The Impossible this week. Whoever did her makeup gets an A+ because Watts, 44, showed no signs of aging. Her skin looked healthy and her facial makeup was minimal. The emphasis was on her bright, bold red lipstick and the perfect amount of eyeliner to bring out her baby blue eyes. The result was a simple, classy look you just have to admire.
Naomi Watts turned heads in her knee-length dress with ruched sleeves, hints of gold as accessories to match, and a red pout.  The red lip, teamed with Naomi’s worn in a 1950’s Old Hollywood wavy style enhanced her detailed Ivory Marchesa dress. The hints of gold jewelry didn’t hurt either. And, as a side note, a gold bracelet or earrings pack a big bang – wear them when you want to go for a classic look and minimal makeup like Naomi.
A bold red lip is brave, I admit, but I also think it’s a must-try for any girl who considers herself a little adventurous when it comes to makeup. Line your lips first to add an extra oomph factor, which is just a shade or two lighter than the lipstick you choose.
