Give us a little background on yourself.
I am originally from the Caribbean, Trinidad, but great up in Atlanta, Ga. I have always had a love for makeup and in college, I became intrigued by tv/film makeup. So I headed out to LA to MUD makeup to pursue the journeyman makeup program, and have worked my way up in the TV/Film industry. As an artist, it gives me pleasure in creating the character with my talent and helping them bring that character to life. That's me in a sense as a makeup artist. Both my background and love of makeup have helped mold me into the artist I am today! Forever learning and growing with each project I take on.
What drew you to a career in makeup?
I work in TV/Film and have always been intrigued by creating a character using makeup. Helping the talent transition into whatever character they are portraying and at the same time, seeing them light up and smile when the makeup is done. It's that feel-good feel I get by making others feel Wonderful.
What are some of your notable and/or favorite projects?
I feel like each project I have worked on I take away a favorite from, from Tyler Perry productions The Oval, Madea Homecoming, to Lodge 49, and most recently, Ms. Marvel and Secret Headquarters.
