Give us a little background on yourself.
I was born and raised in Montana and always thought I’d be a photographer. I always had a love for makeup but pursued it a couple years after graduating from high school and went to cosmetology school. Left home and moved myself to Denver, CO. There, my life and career flourished, After school and working at a hair salon I branched off and started my own business.
I now have a successful salon where I not only do bridal hair and makeup but color and cutting as well. I’m the type of person that enjoys challenges in life and pushing myself to be better. I find this industry is always changing and growing so it’s never boring! As an artist I am that person that talks a little too much but will happily teach you and explain everything I’m doing and using. I want to be a friend to my clients and build a bond and trust.
What do you think makes makeup so special in our world?
First and foremost I absolutely love the community makeup has brought me. They are so supportive and not afraid to show others tips and tricks to make them a better artist. I also love the creativity behind it, you can express yourself in so many different ways with makeup. Makeup has no limits or requirements, it’s for everyone.
What are some of your notable and/or favorite projects?
