TikTok Makeup Trend #1 – No More Heavy Contouring
In her Summer 2022 makeup trend video below, Gisele Ayora starts off by talking about how heavy contouring is “out” and a soft bronzed look is “in.” Honestly, we are here for it. Contouring is time consuming, difficult, and can be expensive. Swiping on some bronzer and blush (see next trend below) is much easier and gives you a youthful appearance.
TikTok Makeup Trend #2 – Pop of Blush
In January, we talked about how bold blush would be a huge trend this year. While we are still seeing different colors of blush like we did to start the year (orange, blue, purple, etc.) a pop of pink or orange blush for the summer is very “hot” right now. Don’t be afraid to apply more than you usually would or extend across your face.

Similar to the sun-kissed look achieved from blush and the dewy look, glowy skin is very trendy right now. Think lots of shimmer and highlights to the cheekbones and brow bones to achieve this beautiful look. @maryxm.mx shows us her gorgeous glowy look in her TikTok video below.

We love Mikayla Nogueria’s personality in her videos, and we especially love her Hot Girl Summer lip combo look, where she combines lip liner, lipstick, and lip plumper. This summer, we are seeing a lot of subtle shades but big lips, so whip out the lip plumper and lip liner to make your lips poppin’. Que Lil Mama’s “Lip Gloss” song.
