The Setting Spray to Have and to Hold From This Day Forward

Skindinavia Bridal Setting Spray

So your big day has finally come. The day you’ve been dreaming about since you were a little boy or girl, your wedding day. Beautiful flowers, friends, family, love and most importantly a bomb setting spray. After months, maybe even years of planning to create one of the most beautiful and memorable days of your life don’t let all your hard work go to waste with bad makeup on the final day.

From a pre makeup routine to the final setting spray, we’ve listed out all the steps you need to take so you look as flawless as your venue does.

Pre-Wedding Prep

Hydrate, moisturize, rinse & repeat

At this point, you might as well call yourself the hydration station. As far as 6 weeks out from your big day you will want to start drinking your bodyweight in water (kidding.. but at least 8 cups a day, please).

Moisturizing is also key. This is the time to bust out all of your best facial serums, masks, and oils. However, please don’t decide to experiment with anything new or crazy days before your wedding if you’re prone to breakouts or irritation.

Facial Massage? Okkkuuurrr.

This step excites us allllmost as much as the final step (aka our bridal setting spray). On the night before your wedding, give yourself a nice deep 20 minute facial massage to relieve tension and plump up skin and muscles overnight. This is also a wonderful excuse to use your bridezilla card one last time and have one of your trustee bridesmaids give you a massage as you sit back and relax 💆‍♀️

The Big Day

Facial Massage, Round Two

Okay you get it, we looove massages. But common, who doesn’t? Besides, we wouldn’t list it if it wasn’t important! On the morning of your big day, before you start your long makeup routine, use a jade roller on your face. You may be thinking this is a bit #Extra but jade is naturally cool and soothing and has been scientifically proven to have some wonderful benefits for your face like

It’s Prime Time, Baby

Don’t forget to use the best makeup primer spray (ours, duh) after you’ve moisturized and before you add any foundation. Using our primer will help smooth out uneven skin tones and create the perfect canvas for a beautiful wedding day look. Check out more reasons why you’d be making a huge mistake if you don’t start with our primer, here.

Last But Absofreakin’lutely NOT Least: Setting Spray

Your makeup artist has just finished her final touches and you’ve just taken the last sip of your champagne (heeeeyyy), this means it’s time for the final step to lock it all in. Using setting spray on the day of your wedding could be more important than remembering your vows.

If you want to look picture perfect all day and night, give yourself a couple spritzes of our setting spray and you will be able to dance, kiss, and cry as much as you want. Don’t even get us started on the tears the father of the bride’s speech will bring (can you say glass case of emotions?) BUT not to worry, our setting spray will make sure your makeup does 👏🏼 not 👏🏼 budge 👏🏼.  Ohh and we’ve even created a setting spray just for brides because we are just that thoughtful.

To toot our own horn a little more, here are a couple more reasons why our setting spray is the best you’ll ever have
