Jennifer Lawrence Hunger Games Transformation: From Blonde Bombshell to Brunette Beauty

Jennifer Lawrence has given us a sneak peek into her new look and makeover for one of the most anticipated characters to come on the big screen since the Twilight series.  The new series based off the books Hunger Games will star Katniss Everdeen as the main character played by the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence.  However, many fans were not happy with the actress being cast in the movie for a few reasons and one of them being that she’s a natural blond. So, Jennifer had to turn to the other side and adapt the brunette locks for the role. The trailer which was first aired on television during the Super Bowl pre-game on Sunday doesn’t offer a lot of new footage, but it does force home the position that, if nothing else, the Hunger Games will be a animated film with the attire, makeup and unbelievable sets along with a new and improved Jennifer Lawrence…Because brunettes have more fun the blondes…right? From a Light to Dark Jennifer Lawrence

With a darker braided hair do, tan skin and slender figure, Jennifer Lawrence has officially transformed from hot blonde to The Hunger Games’ rough fighter Katniss Everdeen, right there on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Lawrence has been quoted saying she wasn’t always so aggressive on taking on the role. “I knew that as soon as I said yes, my life would change,” Lawrence revealed to Entertainment Weekly in the issue on stands May 20. “And I walked around an entire day thinking ‘It’s not too late, I could still go back and do indies, I haven’t said yes yet, it’s not too late.'” She later says yes to the project, “I love this story,” Lawrence reveals, “and if I had said no, I would regret it every day.”

When she was blonde at the 2011 Oscars she looked stunning in her red dress, blonde tress and her eyes were the focal point of the night.  To get the sexy eyes she played them up with lots of mascara like Dior DiorShow Mascara and dark black liner. Layering four purplish raisin neutral tones Lawrence created a shaped and structural eye that still managed to feel soft and smudgy.

When she switched to the dark side, Jennifer balanced her eyes with a gray-colored shadow that she applied to both her upper and lower lids in good taste. There was just a hint of green near the lash-line to bring out the soft tone of her eyes. To do this, try using the Sephora Collection Eyeliner in Khaki Green lightly on the top and bottom lash lines. Her eyebrows exposed am element of a light brown to complement the hair, which was tinted brown for her role in The Hunger Games. She covered the perfect skin on her cheeks, forehead, and neck with an tan foundation and topped her cheeks with just a subtle brush of pink. Jennifer Lawrence opted for almost nude lips, which helped to concentrate her eyes and facilitated in keeping her face in soft with a tan beautiful balance.
