Happy Birthday Jennifer Lawrence, and Thanks for Having The Best Eye Makeup Looks to Copy

It’s Jennifer Lawrence’s birthday today and we thought we’d do a post on her because she’s just plain winning every day. That’s right Charlie Sheen. This is what winning looks like! She just appeared in Vogue looking as hot as ever for the 120th anniversary issue and is listed as one of the honorees on the Vogue hottest 120 list. The magazine highlights the hottest faces in fashion with Lady Gaga gracing its cover and Kristen Stewart grabbing a spot on the list of influencers as well. Looks aside, Lawrence is also winning big raking in $10 million to appear in the sequel of Hunger Games and has scored roles in Catching Fire and the X-Men sequel.  Not bad for 22!

Jennifer Lawrence also looked glamorous as she attended the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2012 Installation Luncheon in Beverly Hills on Thursday afternoon. The young starlet showed off some skin in a low-cut Narciso Rodriguez Resort 2013 black-and-white snake print jacquard silk dress. Her bronzed eye makeup, as usual, is really something to envy. Gray and soft pink was used on her upper lids, with a bronze shimmer on the bottom and with a bit of brown/graying pencil on her inner rims. She looks like a bronzed goddess and your good friends at Skindinavia are here to ensure you’re goddess-worthy this weekend too!  Here’s how to get Jennifer Lawrence’s bronzed glowy eye makeup:

First apply some liquid lid primer over your eyelid. The lid primer will help stop the makeup from creasing on your eyelid and can help keep your bronze eye looking smooth. You then need to use eyeliner as your next step to get the bronze smoky eye look. Gray colors work best – You should not use black eyeliner to get the bronze smoky eye look because it can be too aggressive looking.

Apply a thin line around the upper eyelashes which will help make your lashes look thicker. After you do the top eyelashes, you can apply a thin layer of eyeliner to your bottom lashes making the eyeliner come out a little beyond your eye. Take the eyeliner and make an upward line extending past your eye to make your eye look lifted.

Now it’s time to apply your eye shadow. You should use a lighter neutral shade of eye shadow for the base. Make the eye shadow go from the lower edge of your eyelid up toward your eyebrow bone. Make sure you blend it well. Next apply a gray eye shadow along the eye going downwards to your eyelash line. Make sure both of these eye shadow colors are blended together well so that you do not have signs of layers of color.

Finally, your eyelashes and apply mascara. Curling your eyelashes and applying mascara will make your eye look more pronounced and it will overall make your eyes look bigger and brighter. You should only use brown mascara or light black mascara depending on your skin tone in order to achieve the bronzed makeup look. Voila! Let us know if you felt like a goddess copying Jennifer Lawrence’s bronzed eye makeup look!
